To have a relationship and start your spiritual journey with God one must be baptized. Jesus says that both belief and baptism are required to be saved (Mark 16:15-16). It is through baptism that we formally make our commitment to permanently turn from sin and surrender our lives to God. The Bible commands us to be baptized in water like Jesus himself did as a public declaration of our decision to turn away from sin and follow Him!

Your decision to follow Jesus Christ as your personal Savior is the most important decision you will ever make in your life.

There are 3 Biblical reasons why to get Baptized

1. It's Commanded

Jesus commanded that the gospel be preached. Among those who heard the gospel, those who believed and were baptized were saved. Thus, it is necessary for salvation because Jesus said so. (Matt. 28:19), (Mark 16:15-16)

2. It's for the Remission of Sins?

The Bible plainly states that baptism is "For the remission of sins (Acts 2:38) or to "wash away sins" (Acts 22:16). And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord." (Acts 22:16).

3. It Puts You Into CHRIST!

The apostle Paul wrote the Galatians, "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ." (Gal. 3:26-27). The same apostle wrote the Romans, "Know ye not, that so many of us were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death. Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father even so we also should walk in newness of life.
